remember a leader of our navy used the same ploy some time ago :) the difference is our one died in battle ,bush will be safe in his bunker with his cronies watching his countrymen die :mad:

Erm...you see that photo, right? Well, we all know Dubya's a bit fik, but this time he's made those that mock him look a tad silly, because those 'binoculars' are special nightvision jobbies that amplify light fer-HOUSANDS of times and can only be used in daylight with the lens covers on.

 

The pic doesn't show it, but in the centre of each lens cap is a tiny hole that lets in a correspondingly tiny lump of light - but it's all that the nightvision optics need, see?

 

Gosh, wasn't that INTERESTING, everyone? Thought not. :rolleyes:

I get the point...but it does raise another question..why is he using night vision bins in the day? You really have to worry about this man.

Maybe just to get the 'feel' of how thing's will look to his troops under battle conditions at night? Or perhaps the guys were simply showing the Pres' one of their hi-tech toys. Those optics could have stuff like laser rangefinders, infra-red pickup and all sorts.
