Fish - A neurological study which compares the nervous systems and reactions between fish and mammals, revealed that the brains of fish do not enable them to feel pain or experience fear. Professor James D. Rose from the University of Wyoming has been studying data concerning animals and their responses to pain and stimuli from scores of studies collected over the last 15 years. According to him awareness of pain depends on functions specific to regions of the cerebral cortex that fish do not have. Fish react to stimuli but not to pain which is predicated on awareness which necessarily comes from the brain. the body cant ,but what about the other bit :)
