Anyone else get a nice letter explaining that the EA had given your online details to A N Other?

So is that why it took ages to get the licence?

It just lowers the trust you have in their use of the technology. Perhaps they should stick to the phone.

Hmmm.....next year online will not be on my list.

Most government departments as well as the police and companies are quite happy to flog your details to anyone with the money to buy them ,in many cases they merely lose it

The reason it takes so long is someone got a backhander suggesting the company the EA use was better than using the post office ,its probably some little back office in some run down building run by a friend of whoever thought of this great idea

After an insurance claim this year the family email address received mail from no less than 86 separate companies.
