Here ya go nightwing. The URL for your pic took me to it but for some reason it doesn't want to display on AN. But by taking properties from the pic and posting that, it works. The URL link doesn't.

All I get is a tiny little red x...no visable URL.

BTW..that is a near 7 lb brook trout..look in awe boys, as that is a rare and wonderfull creature(the trout..not me)

I am not sure that stringer is Euro-spec, however....:-)

One of those name things. The original version over here was a piece of string with a small loop at one end and a piece of metal for a 'needle' at the other. Fish with a boney jaw keep nicely if you run the needle piece thru the lower jaw.

 

He is using an updated version (but lower capacity) with clips on a piece of chain but still called a 'stringer' because of the original.
