PQSC files

Hi all,

 

I've recently bought an external HD to free up my one in the tower. I transferred about 20 GB of MP3's and then deleted them off of the original HD expecting it to be 20 gigs lighter, but no.

 

I've now got a folder under PQSC which is 20 gigs. If you keep clicking on all the seperate folders it eventually ends up in loads of DAT files.

 

What do these do and is it safe to delete them?

sometimes the playlist in your audio player backs up these files for its own use ,maybe there is a box to unclick within the player such as save files localy or whatever

Cheers, but I've just tried deleting them all but it won't let me anyway.

 

It's saying source file may be in use. Access denied.

is your music player or anything similar open? maybe try restarting your pc and trying to delete them again

It's been kicked around for the last 4 years which is why I backed everything onto this new HD.

 

I think it's finally admitting defeat and is going to pass away before too long.

 

I'm just too tight to splash out on a new one while this one is still working.

try doing a search for a prog called enditall download it and run it, it stops all progs running except Windows, then try deleting your files...worth a shot.
