Printer Help Please

I have just put a new printer cartridge in printer,cannot get rid of a flashing green light(power light)when I press print it comes up saying ring central fax!!!!!!

 

i admit I have not used this thing for a very long time but now need to quite urgently....

 

its a cannon printer that takes a BC-02 cartridge......

 

what have I done...

not sure about cannon but have a look at the drop down menu when you press print ,the fax part should be on the drop down along with your printer ,click on your printer bit to choose that instead of the fax.

you alsop may need to tell the printer that it has a new cart, go to .

"start"...."settings"...."printers and faxes"a box will open with your printer and if its installed a fax function (not a real fax but a fax function )

...right click on your printer and scroll to "properties" another box will open "printing preferences" in there under maintanence should be all you need to test your printer etc ,as i said i havent a cannon there may be differences :)

You have 'Ring Central fax' set as your default printer.

Go START, Settings, Printers, hover over your cannon printer icon & right click, select the 'set as default printer' and roberts your mothers brother.
