Having used up half of Elton's web space without knowing what I was doing here we go again - because I refuse to be beaten - but why do I have to re login every time I go to load a picture?

safety gear is under the jacket - buoyancy vest, waterproof VHF, whistle and flares on a lanyard - so they are on ME, not the kayak!

Similar setup to me Simon. All the safety gear is in my buoyancy aid with a neoprene hood tucked into the back pocket to don if I go over in cold conditions. My Icom M87 handheld vhf fits in my front pocket too.I also have a gps unit strapped to my wrist.

Compass is jammed into the cup holder - I must get a bit of foam or something that will allow it to sit in there without the gimbal mount screw head holding it in by brute force! Works though

I forgot to mention my rod leash - a bit of nylon cord with a lovely little swivel mounted spring clip - I've got two of them and I can't find any more.
