I have got that book too, Specimen.Some of the marks in the back section make interesting reading. Many of them have been forgotten about - maybe worth revisiting....

i did think it was in the Straights near bangor pier where did you launch from i will give it a go have you ever tryed from penmon puffin island was thinking about it looks like an easy place to launch from .i have been getting plenty small silver ones about 2/3lbs from Moelfra on Anglesey with jelly shads and plugs. the whiting and cod are just starting to show in small numbers but no size yet .i put all bass back but do keep the odd cod .
