Beautiful work - and very, very light! Under 50lbs for an 18' 6" kayak!

 

The clinker boat is a Shetland design - i know of Ian Oughtered, he designs and builds boats - he did one that was featured in Classic Boat a couple of years ago - builds lovely boats himself.

That is a cracking looking boat. I have the plans to build a 12'6" outboard canoe in stitch and glue method. I am also looking at building a 14' centre console fast fisher when I have the time.
