The Penn looks like a Seaboy but the right hand picture is not of that reel!

I don't think the Seascamp had a star drag.

That real was probably something between the two.

It might even be a Seaboy, but mine has a red handle.

Anything up the range had torpedo handles.

My Seaboy cost £3/4/3d from memory. The Seascamp was about £2/14/0d.

Hi Pete.

I've got an Alvey 35 reel, and I still use it.

Mainly for livebait drifting when after Pike.

I also us an Avley 520 A52 salmon reel which I converted to left hand wind. Which also gets used for drifting livebaits and occasionally for peir fishing.

Both are great reels for these types of fishing, much better than these new fangled baitrunner thingys
