Managed a personal best shore cod tonight 8lb 3oz.......still a pound or so short of 10 tho...sigh.....had 2 others of about 4lb and 3lb......6 more went back. A succesful night. Took my eldest boy first time fishing off the rocks and he loved it tho couldnt understand why he was right next to me using identical rigs and bait, i was baiting up for him, yet he caught nothing. Our baits must have been feet away from each other yet no interest in his bait at all....weird huh? I knew conditions looked good but had almost a fish a cast....makes a change from coming home with nothing

Skippy were you in rhb tonight i was at boggle hole managed 4codling for 9lb plenty of bites but couldnt hook them the swell had dropped a little to much for bogle hole the fish were shy.

Dont sound Shy for skippy m8 . Sounds like those mops are Back. Well done on the Big fish Skips, always nice to get a Pb, That fish is equal to anything I caught there in lots of years of trying. I hered of an 18 pounder once over so you may even get your double yet.
