Hi

anyone fished these fisheries, i believe there is one in Hythe that is producing large Carp in the winter months

 

any ideas how to contact, cant find anything on the net

Hi Cuffmeister,

 

I've fished Nicholls in Hythe and have always caught although nothing huge. There is a free local angling newspaper, sorry can't remember it's title, but it can be picked up in most local tackle shops. This gives a good round up of local waters and whats catching.

It's called "Freshwater Informer" and that's exactly what it does - informs on fisheries, tackle shops, what was caught (plus method, bait etc) last month, and an article or two. Features a couple of visits to fisheries by the Editor and his team in each issue - each gives a detailed look at the fishery plus what the FI team caught there. Nicholls has been featured in the past

 

The newspaper comes out monthly.
