I'm a sh!t house mechanic by trade lol. What your saying is that if you use the shortest possible pan connector the cistern will be standing off the wall and you won't be able to fix it to the wall?

If so make a timber frame the same size and shape as the cistern face it with ply and screw that to the wall. Fix the cistern to that.

Trouble is if we move the bog out to far you then cannot get your leg past it to use it because theres a cupboard almost in front of it

looks like the pipe can be cranked back to the wall, looks like a standard 'p' trap to me, with a close coupled cistern. Certainly looks like there ain't an issue, even could consider a hide away.

and you can use a 90 bend that comes back on it's self a little.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

If we used a standard bog the pipe wouldnt directly come out of the pan and line up to the soil pipe as it is now,i presume we would cut the pipe from the soil pipe and fit some type of flexi pipe to the new 90 degree pipe from the pan ,if you tried to use the same fitting as the old one it would be 100mm nearer the wall and out of line ,the soil pipe is fixed it cannot move nearer the wall due to other plumbing going into it a couple of feet away

I presume some sort of rubber pipe with jubilee clips either end?

Some bodging will be needed to hide it away from sight would be needed

you sure the svp can't be cut back a little to put a 45 or 33 degree bend on it to crank it back to the wall? If it's that tight, you can have a 45 degree pan connector as well. Yes you can also use a flexi, I don't like using them. I don't think you have a problem with it.

I would do a site visit foc for you as long as it's at the weekend. surrey is no problem, Is there a wicks not too far away :)

your svp is the black pipe in the foto, if it can be cut back a little, it will help to get the svp back towards the wall. I think you only need a couple of svp slow bends, a small tub of solvent glue and a new 90 degree bend, you might need a short length of svp and the new bog of course.

Looks accessable to me Dave :) A hacksaw blade held in a bit of cloth will cut thro' the black pipe quite easily, make the cut at least 18" from the pan connector. A couple of offset coupling will get you back, use a bit of the offcut of pipe between the offsets and the rest to meet up with the R/A connector as needed.

Cheers all , i think its possible for me to do it for her with a bit of bodging ,a new bog with a 90 degree bend then possibly a flexi pipe to connect the pipe to the soil pipe? .

Trouble is getting the bits to fit each other in one shot ,she collects me (i have no car) then goes to work so i cant get to store to buy parts but the worse thing is wicks or b&q dont give the measurements of the pipes ends only the push on parts .

The flexi pipe looks like it fits the inside of the black pipe ?but would the other end connect to the thin end of the 90 degree pipe fitted to the outlet of the pan to complete the bodge.

As you can imagine she has bugger all in bits lying about so hard to bodge.

Either that a 90 degree bend out of the loo with a 90 degree to go back towards the soil pipe and another 90 degree and pipe to connect to the cut off bit of existing white pipe in picture.

Trouble is i am no plumber just a bodger trying to save her over 2 grand which she doesnt have .

Last thing ofcourse i want is to leave her without a loo or worse still the pipework falls apart after she drops me back home

Being big brother has its difficulties and i hate to say no shes had problems in her life besides bastard using husband that bankrupted her leaving her with a massive mortgage two jobs hardly cover and buggering off so she has to put her house on the market (hence updating the bathroom) because she cannot afford to keep working 18 hours a day to keep it

Its either bodge the bog or win the lottery ,i think i know what it will be
