Bimini Twist

[Guest Feels like Winter to me]

Been learning the bimini twist and have just about got it. But once you have the line with a loop in how do you attatch the leader ??????

put the tag end of leader thru the loop in the twist

 

twist round 4-5 times, back thru the hole at the bottom

ease it tight

 

same as u would a hook m8

Ive used this knot for a couple years now and its never failed yet,the only downside is if you have to pull for a break it will go on the weakest point on the mainline so you may lose 5yds or 100yds,over clean ground its the dogs

cats paw is too big a knot. use that and watch the inserts on your rings come off.

 

line up through the hole. 3-4 turns along the double and then turn the line back on itself and 3-4 turns back the other way. back through the hole but the opposite way from which it started. wet and pull tight.

 

i can get that done to quite a small knot and very tidy.

 

makes a difference when casting.
