Oh yer.. tis a cracker of a fish no matter what.. I would have loved to have been on the other end of the rod from it.When I fished for Salmon & sea Trout, my best Salmon only went 12lb.. I had Sea Trout to over 14lb though.. more than made up for it :)

best salmon 10lb best sea trout only 5lb + a m8 had 1 around the 10lb mark in the mid 90's

According to a CEFAS scientist that I know, it's definately a sea trout.
