buying saltwater flies and bread flies

Help, holiday is in four weeks

 

non of the shops have much in stock yet.

 

can anyone point me to somewhere that I can buy a range of flies for fishing from the beach, sizes 12 to 6 preferably.

 

plan to fish on an eight weight rod.

 

also will need bread flies

 

any help much appreciated

Bread flies are easy super glue white plastazote on to the hook of a suitable size and there you are.

You could always pantone the side or top brown to imitate the crust or buy some of the artificial bread, made by Partridge, if you want to go for the realistic look.

Made a start on your order ealier,and yes used some white plastazote for the bread flies :thumbs:

progress report Phil,so far have tied up-

 

sandeels

sticklefry

needlefish

shrimps

squid

breadfly(looks like a juicy chunk of crusty bread) As you suggested Tony painted one side brown :D

Still a few more to do though. Not tying anything this weekend though cos my daughter is about to arrive for a few days so I will be :clap2::clap::yeah::hug::yahoo::drunk::crazy::drunk:
