bait boat

hi, i am new to carp fishing so i bought a bait boat(not very good casting long distances), stuff like sweetcorn stick to the boat instead of going in the water, i have tried tubes to put bait in, no good. any suggestions please, thankyou

only one suggestion, before you throw away money on a bait boat, learn to cast properly ooops too late, sorry

try drying it in ground bait or pellets or mix it with vitealin and hemp are you leaving juice in with it

Put a bed of pellets in and put the corn on the top.

Ignore the responses from the grumpy old gits. The weather has their ancient bones aching and that always makes them grouchy.

 

Do note however that any discussion of bait boats will find a few anglers who don't like a thing about their use - usually based on the number of folks who mis-use them.

I can't give you a sollution to your problem but what I do is mix the sweatcorn with none oily pellets. That or when i lay alot of bait and feeling abit cheap I use frozen sweatcorn which don't stick to the inside of the boat.

im pretty new to carping and i,ve just got a baitboat and the only reason i,ve got it is where i fish alot of carp are caught up close to islands and theres just no way i could cast acurate enough to get there
