I found the fish at Brimpton on Friday evening and had around 11 bites but only banked one barbel, most frustrating and I couldn't figure out why they were coming off! Ordered barbless animals by mistake so going to switch to micro barbed to see if that helps

Go for Pallatrax The Hook. Blinding. Bigger than a 14 I don't use anything else for bigger fish like chub and barbs.
