Anybody Yakfishing around Exeter?

There is the possibility of my moving to Exeter. Is there anybody yakfishing in that area. Fill me in. I've got four yaks and am really wanting to give it a shot there. So, tell me folks, are the natives friendly?

Hey Prowlerguy,

There are a few guys down that way, they have been absent from the forum for a little while, probably out fishing :D but during the end of last year they had a few meets.

YakityYak is your man, he's from around them there parts, and a very hospitipal guy he is too. :)

It's a great part of the UK with plenty of fishing to be had.

Absent Absent!!!

Were just resting, there's a few yakers around Exeter or as Bill would have it "Dem Deby'n Beys". We met up at the end of last year, great meeting in Salcombe, I'm sure one or two will pick up your post.

As for me Tarpon 140 hopefully with one or two mods ready for 2006 based in Holsworthy about 22 miles from Exeter, .

As Starvin said there's some great fishing to be had around these parts.

Maybe see you soon

Regards

Flynny

Hi Prowlerguy.

As Starvin has said, there are a few of us floating around about the Exeter area.

Like Flynny2 ( Richard ) said, we had a meet at the end of last season, to get us all together as a group for the first time.

I sadly missed that meet through injury to my back, but am looking forward to this seasons fishing and meets.

There are about 12 of us around and about the Exeter area.

You will be more than welcome to join in with the group, and hopefully learn from our vast experience on the water, and see how our acclaimed fishing skills are applied.......envied by all.....matched by none B):D

As Starvinmarvin ( Dave ) kindly says  we are a friendly bunch, and would welcome your company.

Just dont freakin outfish us :2::D .

Keep us up to date with your move.

Bill.

Hi Prowlerguy.

... Keep us up to date with your move.

Bill.

I'm supposed to go to Exeter to check out a church, which wil be the weekend of the 4th and 5th of February. If it does turn out that I feel that's where The Lord wants me, then I'll be moving to Exeter within a month or so, from here in Mannheim, Germany. I've always dealt with mostly military people, and having had 14 years as a Marine, it will certainly be a switch to be a pastor to regular type people. I feel for those folks though as they are in definite need. I am also considering going to Australia, and more of a military type ministry.

Regardless of where I end up going to, I'll be kayaking and fishing.

Respectfully, Prowlerguy sends

How many times do you suppose this kid will skip, when he hits the water?
