The latest turn of the dice - an ex workmate of mine works for another pharmaceutical company as a team leader. He heard that I will be finishing this year so he sent me a job offer by e-mail

 

John I hire temps for our company and I would just love to get hold of someone with your vast analytical experiance. The contract will probably be a rolling 6 month 20k deal.

 

Was going to ride into the sunset but now unsure what to do

Take the job get them to put you on a daily contarct at say £150 per day and go in when it suits both parties.

That way you would be free to spend more time at the Mull of Galloway by working 4 day weeks and getting loads of long weekends in.

Its what I used to do; great for fishing and travelling.

Two job offers now

 

Tell you what When I either take my pension or am made redundant/take my pension will take a month or so off to conteplate the whole thing. May squeeze a Cuban marlin trip in while I am thinking about it

 

Will be 56 this year and started work straight from grammer school!!!!! Worked non stop apart from 6 month period on the dole

 

I can manage no bother on the pension but am still tempted by the 20k contract offer

 

**** what should I do ???
