New Yak Ordered

Well gone ahead and ordered another Scupper Pro. Decided that I couldnt wait for the insurers to swing to and fro.

 

Having ordered it has made me realise that I have an opportunity to correct any probs on the original's rigging. However, only thing I think I will change is avoid having paddle clip on same side as anchor trolley.

 

Does anybody have any ideas as to removing the transducer from the hull. Its currenly held very firmly in place with Araldite Rapid. Typical when you want one to come loose you find its more permanent than a Sunderland loosing streak.

try some heat out side of old hull

to remove tip ring from rods just heat tip and pull

Darnsarf is not the only one --I just ordered a P13 angler in flame which is orange/red should pick up fromBournemouth Canoes next Friday. Just ordered Scotty mounting bar and holders-------------can't wait Paul is it to be named "Yarak 2"?

I must also confess: Zzippy and I dusted down our beachcasters and fished Lepe the other week. First spot of shore fishing for a while - needless to say I blanked. It was good to check out that mark for kayak launch points.

Yep. Yarak 2 seems good. Stripping everything usable off the wreck tommorrow.

 

Bought what the sailor types call mouse line (para cord) today. 100m for £10 from chandlers. Great anchor rope. Looking to copy Richis set up.

 

Then got to finish crate, by putting on second rod holder. Spraying rod booms Flouro Yellow.

 

Hopefully pick up yak in a couple of weeks. Should take one day to rig and then ready to go. I can smell the salt!
