No-one hooklink is the best, as one hooklink is good for one water, whilst another is good for another water.

The hooklength should be of a lower breaking strain than the mainline.

 

As for material there are so many factors to consider its hard to say without specific details of venue, bottom, snags, weed, casting distance etc etc

The new strip teaze is good, but I prefer mono for most hooklinks.

 

As most said its all about the situation and opinion.
