fish n strips

Hiya,

Yup I've done quite well with them, though I would do far better if they brought out a squid or fish flavoured version.

Crab & shellfish are both very poor baits up in my area, it's either fish or squid if you want results :)

I see they're doing white now, too.

The white ones don't seem to last as long in the water as the green ones.

Weymouth Angling Centre are now selling a lot of them, it seems.

There are some worm flavoured ones about to be marketed, they tell me.

I use a third of a strip to keep the worm on the hook. If the worm is nicked, there is still some bait on the hook for something to take.

At £8.99, they go a lot further than £10.00 worth of ragworm, and you can take home what's left over, for the next time, but they are not the complete answer. Complimentary to the rest of your strategy!

yes i know they will never replace fresh bait and dont expect them too

just ordered some to see if i can catch some bass on them........

for the bass we use small baits similar to the size of a fish n strip
