turning a photo into a cartoon

Does anyone know of any readilly available, easy to use sotftware that can tke a JPeg photo and convert it into a cartoon style image that I can use to have empbroidered badges ?

Hi Ken L There is but I've forgot where.

 

About 6 years ago I was on the lookout for exactly what your after. I put a search on the internet and found a Software Company, can't remember if it was in Italy or Israel. My needs changed so I didn't take it on.

Lots of stuff - all free - some easier to use than others.

 

The other thing to try would be ImageForge:-

Elton, I used MGI Photosuite 111, Almost all the tricks you will need to play around with pics. The edit I used for the "cartoonisation" (?) was called, amazingly enough, "cartoon"
