All I take is a radio. I find TV's too distracting plus you need a power pack or tons of batteries. The only exception is during something like the world cup - mind you there's a pub with sky just across the road from the lake, with nice barmaids

I used to take a tv but can never get a good picture, so now I save up the carp mags to read.

All I take is a radio, Pack of cards, chess set, a TV (32" plasma) DVD player, PC, Laptop, Dartboard, small snooker table, Twister and Kareoke machine. And if rooms a bit of fishing tackle.

 

I know that I am roughing it, but it is about the fishing really...
