Dont need to show birth certificate, after all you can by them on line from the EA or via telephone like what I do :)

I would suggest that to prevent this problem in future all anglers could have a copy of their birth certificate tatooed on a part of their anatomy that rarely sees the light of day.

Then when proof is needed you merely need to drop the trolleys to solve the problem. :yucky:

Chesters is excepted from this (it would take too long) and the copious forehead could be subtituted.

I am pretty sure that you would only be asked once for proof :sun:

Might be better if the license was also tattooed there :)

ive just had a reply from the EA regarding this matter.....

Dear Dean

Thank you for your email regarding fishing licences.

When purchasing a fishing licence the Environment Agency say no proof is needed for a junior licence. When buying a concessionary licence proof is required. The post office may ask for proof of age as a precaution.

Regards

Too the post office I go in the morning.
