lypsyl :lol: try rubbing some lypsyl between finger n thumb to warm it then apply it to line and or fly. :rolleyes:

 

Its the only floatant i use...its also slick free ie no oil slick around your fly..brilliant. and you dont get chapped lips when out :lol::lol::lol:

 

only use a tiny amount it goes a long way

 

I wonder if you could use the flavoured version on carp flies ie cherry flavoured deerhair dog biscuits :yeah:

I was planning on using Vaseline on my big dear hair pike flies this summer.

lypsyl sounds much less messy though.
