This was a surprise visitor yesterday i took out a charter with four anglers aboard.

They landed six blue shark, lost two more and we saw a big female cruising around the boat on the surface.

A great start this early in the season so it should be a good summer.

 

But this made my day, it took two of us to haul to Turtle aboard for unhooking, all shark and turtle were relased unharmed after taking pics. :)

Yes John, we had one last year as well but not as big.

They seem to come up in the water and take the Sardines that we use as Shark bait.

I have to say you need to be very carefull when unhooking then or they would have your finger off :sun:

Elton i seem to remember a turtle was caught in some nets off the Blackwater area a few years back, maybe Sam will remember it.
