Honestly, Sharkbyte, that forum is often well worth a read...even if you never have any intention of sitting in a kayak.

 

Those guys get up to all sorts - pictures of them catching tope (and holding them in the kayak for photos!) springs to mind

Going out to Poole bay again this Thursday/Friday to try and get a better photo

But this time we are going armed with wire traces and a big rubby dubby bag full of scraps.

We are determind to boat(kayak) a blue or Porbeagle before the summer is out.

If we cant get one round here we will try Bude or other places in North Cornwall.

As Elton said.The Tope were the species last year,which a few members managed.I think a couple had Congers on.But none have been boated yet. Dont think I would like one of those in a 15 foot Kayak though.Here is the Pic of Specimen with his North Wales caught Tope last year
