Re the comments about double glazing salesmen, a few weeks ago a friend had the support struts on a window damaged when someone tried to close it from outside. as it was a 'Zenith' window he contacted them. a salesman turned and instead of just offering replacement struts which should have cost no more than £30 he quoted £800 for a new window, he then brought it down to £600 and said he would have to send a surveyor to measure the window. He went on his way, i took the old struts off, (6 screws each side) straightened the metal and replaced two rivets. while I was doing that the surveyor made contact and when he was told the job was being done he dropped the price to £300. The wife was not amused and told him in short terms to 'Go away'. The only salesman likely to tell the truth is one who wants repeat business with the same customer

I will never talk about income apart from it being well over £50,000 per year, but it depends on the individual.

 

We do NOT practise the tactics used by double glazing companies etc. In fact try it and you are out!
