As a lot of you know I can only take liquised food, well was messing about and tryed this.

 

Two peach halves(tinned) half the juice and a big lump of ice cream.

Blended to a sloppy mush, serve straight away.

Mmmm loverly. :D :D

 

Any other ideas?

A can of Heineken put in the freezer for approx 1hr............

Water freezes at a higher temperature than alcohol, so you can make brandy by freezing wine and drinking the concentrated alcohol that remains unfrozen.

 

The same applies to any other liquid that contains alcohol.

 

Two problems with that.

 

1. It is illegal, you are operating an unlicensed still!

 

2. In concentrating the alcohol, you are also concentrating the attendant nasties and could end up blind or worse! :eek:

I fnd the German Weiss Bier or Belgian Wit Beers like Hogaarden are the most refreshing in hot weather.

Ive just got a case of French Biere Blanche, which is a similar type and I have three 500ml bottles chilling in the fridge for when I get home.

Yes, they're perfect. We've also been drinking some Belgian fruit beers; Liefmans Frambozen and Kriek. They go down a bit too easily for their alcohol content, though. Last year Sainsbury's were selling an own-brand weissbier with raspberry which was excellent, but I've not seen it since.

Just had one with half a jar of cherries, the dark ones.

Not quite as nice as the peach drink but nice all the same.

 

Just off to finish the other half. :D :D
