MJB, ive sent a letter of disgust to the Echo as I dont think they should be promoting the killing of sharks but promoting the conservation of them. Think a few of the guys from the area and site are going to do the same!

 

Can see it now like a scene from Jaws....loads of small rec boats heading out from Poole wanting to land their trophy shark on the quay.

An amateur fisherman couldn't believe his luck when he accidentally caught this seven-ft porbeagle in the cool waters of Poole Bay.

 

 

As I see it he is a commercial fisherman and as such should pay tax on his income from fishing.

I've had a few nasty abrasions from mackerel teeth, but I never realised they were that dangerous...

 

Think they mean "mackerel shark family", notorious only because of the single great white sheep of the family?
