Getting paid

For me its having it published that is the part I enjoy, and the Swan was my fourth although I confess I have not submitted any to them for quite sometime. Its getting your name "out there" and on the back of the swan I will be this week having some printed and framed and put in a few local places for sale. I think there are places and oppurtunities like this near all of us. I dont necessarily think they are taking advantage as long as the photographer uses the oppurtunity.

Didn't consider whether I would be paid or not...a nice little cheque would have been welcome though :)

I wrote for Angling Times and Angling magazine for several years, and of course got paid by them, but like Steve, it is the personal pleasure that you get when a neighbour comments that they have seen a pic of yours in the local paper :)
