A fair bit of the content of my MP3/WMA music collection has had the genre or track details overwritten at some point or another.

 

Transfering music from one PC to another is easy with an external hard drive but as overwritting the genre or track details in WMP doesn't seem to affect the main file tags associated with the music, it transferes with all the wrong genre or track details.

 

Does WMP store changes to track details in any particular location where they can be copied and transfered to another PC along with the music files ?

 

If anyone knows how to do this it'll save me hours of work when I get around to replacing my rather aged PC.

Species caught in 2015: Brown Trout. Roach. Bream. Terrapin. Eel. Barbel. Pike. Chub.
