fished my favourite mark again last night from 9pm till 2.30am,lovely moonlit night.had a mack flapper on one rod and squid on a pennel on the other, caught a small bream on the pennel (8/0)! and on the mack flapper with wire trace and 7/0 caught a P.B. bass of 52 cms it was a real beauty and put up a good fight but no conger.Saw a dogfish swim right up to the yak on the surface ,must have been attracted to the light,it was another to add to the long list of amazing experiences that you would only see with a yak----hope to get out again today weather permitting of course---------the quest continues.......................................................................

Nice fish Richi-well earnt.Very easy to make excuses and have a glass or two inside but the only way to catch fish is to get out there and get your line wet.

Fascinating that you got the bass on a wire trace,as things have cooled down here I've been thinking of going lighter and lighter-including trying fluro(which I haven't done yet) be interested if people here thinks it makes a difference?

Cheers Jon.
