I've often a nagging worry when fishing below cliffs, especially when there's been an obvious cliff fall, or boulders have appeared where there wasn't one the previous week.

 

Now I'm more worried still.

at west bay cliff the sequence is usually - thud, as rabbit hits the beach, then thud, as the jack russel follows.

 

met an angler who had a sheep land next to him, he thought it would be dead for sure, but after a minute, it got up, shook itself & walked off down the beach.

 

my favorite was a coast guard report from a few years back -

 

"cow falls through chalet roof, cow unhurt, occupants of chalet very shocked"
