'cos it ain't rainin' at Trent Bridge, where Sussex have just wrapped up the County Championship by beating Nottinghamshire (last year's Champions) by an innings and plenty on their home ground. Six wickets between a late start and lunch!

Ironically, Lancashire, who take second place, had their match just along the coast in Hampshire rained off
