Sending faxes from your pc?

now just phone up to see if theve recieved it just to make sure fax isnt like email one wrong number and mrs mopp 3 streets away from the real number will get an earfull of strange noise and put the phone down.

do faxes send back aknowledements of reciept ? never entered my mind before having only used a fax a few times (never a real one only pc)

 

 

Decent fax machines will confirm delivery to the number, dont know if microsoft fax will as I dont seen to have the fax console. It spent a while saying sending page 1 then page 2 and the modem was making fax like noises! I'll check in the morning to see if arrived.

 

 

 

It all started because I ordered some flooring from floors to go, the promised to match the net price of £27 a pack, but when I went to pick it up they had charged me £37 a pack! They were very helpful and said fax the internet details and they'd refund the difference, so here's hoping! Actually it would have been quicker to print the pages and drive the 5 miles to the shop!

your probably right i have done the same myself clutching scraps of paper from their own website ,its strange the ink always runs out when you need to print really important stuff with money saving properties though

the local camping shop didnt know they had a sale untill i took these bits of paper to them ,the head office forgot to tell them (or was only pretending to have a sale thinking that most caravanners and tentists didnt know what the internet was ) i got my deal! mind you i usually do who pays full price when you dont have to nowadays unless your in a hurry
