Storing images

I have copied all of my images from the new camera onto the hard drive of this computer.Should I copy them onto disc/another hard drive for safetys sake????

 

What do you lot do with yours??? Open to suggestions team :)

Download Picassa and make copies with that. Do this weeklie.

Snatcher,

 

If you can afford it, get yourself an external hard drive. Connects via USB and are relatively cheap these days.

250GB is a good starting point for probably less than £100.

DVD backups as well so you probably will have 3 places to access your piccies.

I do what Colin has suggested. Back ups on dual layer DVD's and on an external HDD, as well as a set on a seperate (from the system HDD) drive.
