Hello Colin, I am from a village called Trimley St Mary just outside the arse end of suffolk (Felixstowe).

Oulton Broad is near, and very cheap. Beccles is near, and very cheap! Just how many 'near and cheaps' do you need?

 

By the way, welcome to AN! Three or four of us from Lowestoft, surrounded by near and cheap, and even very cheap, and better still, FREE!!!!

 

Slaters used to be good, until a council official sold all the better fish in there, as happened at Kirkley. At the moment I'd go to Beccles.
