I've a pair I use inside my rubber waders, that go over my woollen socks.

 

Never had cold feet whilst wearing them

 

Only drawback is that it's a struggle to get my waders off when I'm wearing them.

This might sound daft, but have you tried wearing them under the woollen socks?

I wear a pair of Goretex socks on their own inside boots or wellies and I have never had cold feet since I started wearing them, the best cold weather clothing purchase I have made.

Got to agree. I've a pair of fleece lined Porelle Dry socks and they're all I need to keep warm and dry. They do feel a little cumbersome but you do get used to them quickly.
