Spring starts at home

The daffodils are out, but a chilly mist outside the bedroom widow is what passes for "spring" so far.

But this fellow, crawling along the internal window-sill, has woken up from winter sleep

A two-spot ladybird Adalia bipunctata I think, unless anyone knows better.

I found some hedgehog droppings on my path this morning so Spring has sprung!

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!

Swallows in Hampshire since 31st March, Spring is finished, Summer is here. :D

Four Brimstone butterflies seen this morning, most likely overwintered rather than freshly hatched but they looked fairly pristine all the same.
