Flaot Tubing in the Sea - a god idea or totally mad?!

You should come up and try it Ferret, I have a spare tube and I would be happy to take you out.

 

I'm really tempted but it would have to be pretty calm.

I used to do a lot of swimming but not done any since my operation as I have trouble putting my head back.

 

But listen to me I wouldn't need to swim would I?? :)

 

I could bring my inflatable sit in yak too.

 

I've been asked to get up to your side of the border by Norrie and Davy so might make a week or three out of the trip. :D

you would be welcome, I am sure you would enjoy sitting in an armchair and catching wild troots ;)

Of course, it may spoil you for any other type of fishing :yeah:

To be serious, I have a major back problem (5 surgeries) and thought I would have to give up fishing till I found the float tube :sun:

It is the most relaxing fishing you will ever do.

Springtime is good :D

Is fishing allowed on Sundays?

Just thinking last time I was at Lentran my mate said they don't fish Sundays up there????

That really only applys to salmon in rivers. Some owners of wild brown trout lochs don't fish on a Sunday either and if you go over on the West coast and islands some church members don't approve of doing anything on a Sunday.

Where I go won't be a problem :thumbs:
