Hmmm, OR...(As I dont want more holes in the roof) I could use No Nails, to stick the plate to the roof...then sit the magmount on that....:)....

Whats a mag mount. I was told when i first got CB that we would have to have a big stainless plate fitted and ran to earth. All we do is plug them in with ariel and they work fine.

It's a Magnetic Base mounting.. it saves on drilling holes in your car / truck .. they also tend not to stick to Stainless Plates but dont tell Norrie
