Not quite so far for me to walk to catch some schoolies, but at a rise of 14metres I should be OK.

Fourteen metres would be just fine for me. Save me having to walk 300 metres to the pier, I could have a mooring right outside the front door

What was the sea level when it was possible to grow cereals in Greenland not that long ago. It must have been pretty warm for that.

As for the TV pictures a month or so back about rising sea levels covering some islands in the SW Pacific, why hasn't it risen here by that much? More likely it was due to plate movement resulting in lower land levels.

thats a strange link there must be 10+ sites loading data as the page loads ,installing updates so had time to see them on the staus bar . didnt wait till page loaded so they maybe adverts .

i live behind portsdown hill in portsmouth i dont think the sea levels will rise that much

Be interesting if they gave some estimates of the probability of each rise actually happening.
