With respect whether they're Toss*rs or not you have no right to ask to see anyones licence unless you are an EA official.
If an Environmental Agency baliff with a warrant, a police officer or another licence holder asks to see your licence, it is an offence if you do not have it with you and you could be prosecuted."

 

After checking the EA website, and my local club regulations, I read that rule as meaning that all of us decent, licenced anglers are perfectly within our rights to check the licences of other anglers. Am I wrong? My club membership says that we are all bailiffs on our own club waters, and licences, tickets etc can be, and should be checked by other club members.
