well i went fishing and got a better result than a month and half ago, me and my girlfriend went and we only caught 4 little roach, and she actually caught the biggest one and yes you guessed correctly it was her 1st ever fish she had every caught lol, anyway it was a good day out the sun must of his 20 degrees, there was a slight breeze but the fish were biting everytime there was a break in between gusts of wind,

also i noticed that there had been 2 canadian geese put on the lake which was nice to see, plus a new family of swans and ducks..if any of you are in the north east and want to fish this lake just message me and ill give you directions...

but ill stop blabbing on, i only have 2 pics at the minute but my girlfriend will upload hers off her phone when she gets home, and guys thanks for the advice you gave me in a earlier posts :)

Catching is always fun and that is a beautiful pond. Thanks for the photos.

Those photos (where have they gone?) look more like rudd than roach. Look at the length of the lower lip, and the position of the dorsal fin, behind the front of the pelvic fins. They're very silvery, though.

Hi Henda are you pleased with your catches? Just a thought what line and hooks were you using? I was going to post on you "increase my chances" thread but realsied you had probably already left to go fishing!

I think they're rudd . The fins are very red and the silver colouring is , to my eyes anyway , just the way they're being held in the light . There's a greenish/gold tinge on the upper flanks .

Glad you're enjoying the fishing Henda

I think they are Rudd too, mouth looks to be pointing up rather than straight. Could be Rudd/Roach hybrid. Easily confused to the new angler though. Anyway no matter what they are, congratulations. I hope that they are the first of many for you and the gf.
