Good three hours

Snuck off yesterday afternoon for a three hour session fishing the last two hours of the flood and the first on the ebb.

 

Five small schoolies, three dabs, two hand size flounders, and the cream was a golen grey mullet about 12oz mark the first this year.

 

All went back to fight again.

 

Today it is tipping down just hope we get a break later today.

Can someone explain to me how fish weighing a few ounces 'fight'. A 20 pound plus fish would fight, but 12 ounces? They are winched in surely without hardly knowing they are on the line.
