Crikey, definitely don't want to go in hospital after watching that!!

 

Disappointed in Andrew Lansley not wanting to be seen taking a sample swab on camera, but at least he did supply one.

 

Expected Patricia Hewett to avoid anything to do with it and she didn't disappoint!

 

The letter of complaint sent to the BBC was just a load of b0ll0cks in my opinion.

 

I don't suppose every hospital in the country is like those shown, but how do you know??

Having worked in the cleaning industry for several years I can ASSURE you that the biggest problem is the cash spent on the regime of cleaning. OR LACK OF IT!!!! And the old addage of "Pay peanuts, employ monkeys" IS true in the industry!! SOME of the cleaners are REALLY efficient, but there are too many idiots who are just out to make a wage!! But I can tell you there is NO money to be made in the industry!!

on a visit to my local hospital ,i came across a door marked keep closed wedged open ,the filth that was outside and the even filthier inside made me ashamed ,i did take a very quick photo of if but an approaching nurse caused me not to save it ,had i had it would have been in the local rag for sure,i cant see how pushing dust about with a wide broom cleans any thing nor wafting dust about with a filthy rag does and machines just flick dirt about ,theres cleaning and dusting all that seems to happen is the latter.

and yes i'v been in hospitals at all times on the clock ,either i just miss it or it isnt done to save money thinking that visitors assume its done at night properly.and of course the few night staff think its done in the daytime.

if they actually moved furniture it would help dusting around someone or something isnt cleaning in my book.heaven help what goes on in non public areas where the sham cleaning and acting doesent need to be played!
