Would have joined you Paul but have a bass trip arranged out of Milford Haven weather permitting.

 

Good luck to you all, tight lines etc and enjoy Norma's lunch :D

No Bass about worth a bash yet!!!!!

Had one of 15lb last weekend off the Longsand Head in the Thames Estuary a fortnight ago. But now I know there's none worth chasing, I'l save my bait for another day. Just kidding mate - about saving the bait

It would be nice to hear from those wanting to join us for a day rather than various postings about other trips/tides/bait availability etc.... :wallbash:

Dunno about that, we had 2 in the boat and one off the shore at the weekend - The one off the shore was quite handy because

a) it weighed 8-0-6

B) It was a personal best

c) I christened my new bass rod with it

d) It won the shore section of our first bass festival - £400 plus a shakespeare rod, plus a silver plate.

Sorry Jabee. Would love to be able to go, but its a little far for me at the mo. No car and still bashed up from the accident I lost it in.
